Terms of Service
Last updated June 1, 20261. Agreement to terms
By creating a Kribana account or using the Kribana platform, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you're agreeing on behalf of a company, you're confirming you have authority to bind that company.
2. The service
Kribana provides usage-based billing infrastructure — metering, pricing, wallets, invoicing, a customer portal, and an automated agent — made available as a hosted service and through our API and SDKs.
3. Accounts & API keys
You're responsible for safeguarding your API keys and for all activity under your account. Test-mode keys must not be used to process real payments; live-mode keys must not be exposed in client-side code.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use Kribana to bill for unlawful goods or services, to circumvent usage limits through abusive automation, or to attempt unauthorized access to other customers' data.
5. Fees & payment
Fees are based on the plan and usage described at signup or in your order form. Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable and billed in arrears based on metered usage for the prior period.
6. The agent
Automated playbooks (top-ups, payment recovery, expansion offers, and similar actions) run according to the mode you configure — autopilot, approve-first, or alert-only. You are responsible for reviewing and setting these modes appropriately for your business.
7. Data & security
We process customer and usage data on your behalf to provide the service. We maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect that data, described further in our Privacy Policy and available DPA.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate for convenience with 30 days' written notice, or immediately for material breach that isn't cured within 15 days of notice. Upon termination, you may export your data for 30 days.
9. Disclaimers & liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind beyond those expressly stated in your order form. To the extent permitted by law, Kribana's aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes, we'll provide notice by email or in-product at least 30 days before the change takes effect.
