Onboarding, Sign-In & Your Profile

How signing in, first-time onboarding, and managing your profile and organisation details work in Kribana.

There's no password to remember in Kribana — you sign in with a one-time code sent to your email. The first time your organisation's owner signs in to a brand-new organisation, a short setup wizard walks through account details, use case, an optional import from a previous billing platform, and a starter checklist. After that, anyone can update their own profile or the organisation's details from Settings at any time.

What this does for you

This is how you get into your account and keep your own details and your organisation's details current, without needing support to make routine changes.

Who can use it

Anyone with a Kribana account can sign in and manage their own profile. Only the organisation's owner sees the first-run onboarding wizard, since it's tied to finishing setup for a brand-new organisation. Editing the organisation's own details, and inviting or managing teammates, both require your role to include the right permission — ask your account administrator if an Edit button is missing or saving is blocked.

Where to find it

  • Sign-in: the Sign in page.
  • Your profile: Settings → Profile.
  • Organisation details: Settings → Organisation details.
  • Setup checklist: Settings → Setup.

How to use it

Signing in

  1. Enter your email address and click Send code →.
  2. Enter the 6-digit code from your email — it submits automatically once all 6 digits are filled in, or click Verify. Use Resend once the timer runs out if you didn't get it.
  3. If you belong to more than one organisation, pick one on Select organisation and click Continue.

First-time onboarding (organisation owners only)

The wizard is four steps:

  1. Your details — name, phone number, and your organisation's annual recurring revenue (ARR); organisation name, URL, email, and data location are shown but locked.
  2. What are you trying to solve using Kribana? — pick the option matching your use case.
  3. Migrating from another platform? (optional) — pick a source (Stripe, Chargebee, Orb, Lago, or CSV) and click Start migration to kick off an import you can finish later from Settings → Migrations, or Skip for now.
  4. Complete your onboarding checklist — work through the suggested setup tasks, then Continue or I will do this later.

Picking up setup again later

Go to Settings → Setup to see your remaining checklist and progress (e.g. "3/9 complete"); the left navigation's "Finish setup" widget shows the same count in short form.

Updating your profile

Go to Settings → Profile, click Edit, update your name, phone, photo (Change photo, or the trash icon with a "Yes, remove" confirmation), department, designation, and job role, then Save. Your email can't be changed here — only an administrator can change it.

Updating your organisation's details

Go to Settings → Organisation details, click Edit, update the name, short name, phone number, logo, and billing address. If you change the organisation email, click Verify before saving — Kribana checks it isn't already in use ("Email already exists!" if it is). Uncheck Is shipping address same as billing address if you need a different shipping address.

Tips / things to know

  • Every sign-in uses a fresh email code — make sure you have access to your email to log in.
  • Skipping the migration step during onboarding doesn't lose anything; starting one just creates a record you can keep working on later from Settings → Migrations.
  • You can't remove a teammate from your organisation from the product today — reach out to support for that.
  • A "Continue with Google" button is shown on sign-in but isn't wired up on the backend yet — use the email code method.
